Brief
A clean, typographically-led portfolio for Nina Hanz; a German-American graduate of the Royal College of Art’s MA Writing programme. The site presents her body of work across essays, criticism, poetry pamphlets, and artist books, published in venues including Vogue, Map Magazine, and Arts of the Working Class.
The site was built ensuring that the character of the poet comes through. A folksy, archival aesthetic that also introduces clean minimal elements. Some more advanced touches in smooth animations and sleek feel add a sense of quality and credibility.
Expanding on quality, it is essential to load fast. Static pages are served to the user, with optimisation at every level to ensure immediate load times, regardless of connection or location.
